2023 Registration Open - Please Read

All,

Welcome to the 2023 Challenger Baseball Season!!!!

We are very excited to announce that registration is now open at the Oregon District 4 Challenger Website (https://www.oregon4challenger.com/).

Please note that there are a couple of items to be aware of in regards to registering:

1.  Once again this year, when registering it will say that you are not located in the area for our League.  Please just ignore that error message and continue on.

2.  During registration you will be asked if you would like to volunteer as a Head Coach, Assistant Coach, or Volunteer.  If this is something you are planning on doing please make sure you have your drivers license scanned to your computer as an uploaded copy is required for background checks and to complete this registration step.  

We are also looking for new coaches for the Padres and Orioles this year and if you, or someone you know, are interested in being a coach please reach out to [email protected] and let us know, especially if your players are on one of those teams.  Last year we had to have a lot of different people jump in and help those teams and it's much better for our players if we can have consistent coaching for them.

And finally, this year all Coaches and Volunteers will need to complete concussion awareness training as part of Oregon State Law.  If you are a returning Coach or Volunteer, or want to be a new one, you will need to complete Online Concussion training prior to the start of the season.  The course we are using can be found here and upon completion you will be able to print out a certificate, which we will need a copy of.  You can bring that copy to the Parents meeting or e-mail a copy to [email protected].

Thank you all and we are very excited about the 2023 season and that all the 2022 post-Covid season issues are behind us (please not as much rain).  Season dates this year are each Saturday starting April 29th and running through June 24th.  Keep an eye out for further communication on an upcoming Parents Meeting.
